Families are like fudge- mostly sweet with a few nuts

We really have enjoyed having family come visit and meet Avery. Its amazing how a precious baby girl can bring out the smiles in everyone. We are very lucky to have the family that we do!! We just wanted to post a few pictures of some of their visits with Avery. We love you all very much- and thank you for being a special part of our lives.
Avery meeting her Great Aunt Debbie! She has been so amazing with helping us prepare and celebrate our new addition. She threw a baby shower for me (really Avery) it was very small and intimate... and beyond perfect!! This picture was taken when she came to visit us a little bit after Avery was born and brought a freezer full of yummy homemade food!! We all love you Aunt Debbie.
This is a picture of my mom and step dad. This is Avery's Marmi and G-Pa. I hate to tell ya but these two are going to spoil this baby girl with a lot of love!! I cant wait for her to be able to watch disney movies with her G-Pa... and I think he is even more thilled than I am!! My mom has been a HUGE help since Ernest has returned to work. She meets us at the store quite often to help me grocery shop with a sometimes fussy baby girl!!

I love this picture!! This was taken when my dad, stepmom (who shares Avery's Birthday) sister Brandi, brother-in-law Ryan and Cousin Griffin came to visit! They too brought yummy food- and the best BBQ!! They surpised us by showing up to the hospital right before Avery was born! They were spending the weekend at the lakehouse in Alabama- but made a trip to meet Avery the night she was born. they got there around 1:30AM and left around 3:30 to head back! Quite the drive but we loved seeing them!!

This is Avery's Uncle Ryan. He said Avery was so much smaller than Griffin when he was born. It was great to see him!

Avery loved meeting her Aunt Brandi!! And thanks to Aunt Brandi and Uncle Ryan- Avery will have ANOTHER cousin soon!! :) We can't wait! We sure do miss them now that they have moved to New Mexico!! Love you guys

Today was the first time Ernest's Step mom Nancy met Avery. It was a great visit and the little pups were a hit with Cleo and Sheba as well. Avery sure does love it when Ernest's dad holds her!! We definitely need to think of a name to call them- atleast until Avery makes up a name on her own!!

This is when Avery's Aunt Marie and Uncle Gertjan came to visit at the hospital the morning she was born. They showed up when we were walking the halls, and when it was time- they hung out in the waiting room until she arrived! We have seen them several times since then- and each time we get fresh produce from their garden!! They were also sweet enough to take care of our pups Cleo and Sheba from the day we went into labor- through the first week Avery was home!! Most of all- Avery is looking forward to the pony she'll have at their farm!! She will be the coolest kid on the block!!
We sure do love our family... and appreciate all you have done for us in the past few months of pregnancy & arrival of our beautiful blessing!!
